A tool shaped by a real need
A profile is yours to describe.
GitHub Profile Generator began with a simple wish: make a profile that could reflect what I wanted to share, in my own way.
Why I started building it
I wanted to refresh my GitHub profile, but I couldn't find a tool with enough flexibility to express the things I had in mind. I started this project to make a space where a short introduction, favorite tools, selected work, contributions, and contact links could come together on the writer's terms.
A profile does not need to prove anything. Public activity is only one part of a person's story, and it is fine to have little or none to show. This editor keeps its sections optional so people can choose what feels right for them.
Open source is a shared effort
There are many ways to take part.
You don't need to start with code. A thoughtful report, a clearer explanation, or a recommendation to the right person can all move a project forward.
